CONSTITUTION:A pressure detector is provided with the suction-side piping 1 of a mud pump, the discharge-side piping 3 of the mud 2, a T-joint 4 connected to the discharge-side piping 3, a discharge piping 5 connected to the discharge side Y of the T-joint 4, a relay valve 6 for pressure detection connected to the discharge side X of the T-joint 4, and a compressed-air source 7 where constant-pressure medium gas and compressed air are stored. Further, it is provided with a compressed-air supply pipe 8 extending from the compressed-air source 7 to the relay valve 6, compressed-air discharge pipes 9 and 10 provided to the relay valve 6, and a pressure gauge 11 provided to the compressed-air discharge pipe 10.
