Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the temperature of a heat collector section from rising abnormally by a method wherein thermisters are provided in the heat collector section and a hot water storage tank section, respectively, of the captioned solar heat hot well and in case the thermisters are out of order due to the braking of wires or shortcircuiting, a circulation pump is operated.
CONSTITUTION: In case the thermisters 5 and 6 provided in the hot water storage tank 1 and the heat collector 2, respectively, are in order, a transistor Tr9 goes ON, a transistor Tr8 goes OFF, a transistor Tr18 goes ON, a transistor 17 goes OFF and the circulation pump 4 is controlled in response to the variation of the resistance values of the thermisters 5 and 6. Next, in case the thermister 5 is out of order due to shortcircuiting, the negative potential of a voltage comparator 33 is elevated up to a power source voltage and therefore, the output of the comparator 33 is kept ON but since the Tr9 goes OFF and the Tr8 goes ON due to the shortcircuiting of the thermister 5, a base current flows through the Tr7 through a resistor 14 to turn Tr17 ON. Consequently, a contact 35 of a relay 30 is opened, the circulation pump 4 is operated and a LED32 gives forth light to display an alarm.
