Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive the increase in the output of vehicles in both low speed and high speed operations by a method wherein a wiring circuit, to be exclusively used for excitation, and a full-wave rectifier are provided. CONSTITUTION:Three-phase output wiring circuts 1a-1c and 4a-4c, whereon the first and the second Y-connections are performed, are provided on a generator, the output of the first output wiring circuits 1a-1c is feeded to a storage battery 3 and a load 11 through the intermediary of the full-wave rectifier 2, and the output of the second output wiring circuts 4a-4c is feeded to an exciting wiring circuit 6 through the intermediary of a three-phase full-wave rectifier 5 and a voltage regulateor 7. When the number of winding of the second output wiring circuit 4 is increased to above that of the first output wiring circuit 1, the output at the low-speed op]eration is increased. On the other hand, when a high-speed operation is performed, the voltage of the third harmonic ingredient generated on the first output wiring circuit 1 is generated in the direction whereon the voltage of the third harmonic ingredient generated on the second output wiring circuit 4 will be cancelled by the aid of action of the transistor located between the first wiring circuit 1 and the second wiring circuit 4, thereby enabling to increase the output at the time when a high-speed operation is performed.
