Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an opening/closing valve with no leakage by interposing a nonself extrusion type sealing material, from which extrusion takes place according to the fluid pressure, between the valve element and the body and thereby decreasing the slide resistance against the valve element.
CONSTITUTION: When the fluid pressure in a pilot chamber 4 becomes a certain value lower than the fluid pressure at the primary port A, a sheet type valve element 3 separates from the sheet 9 while compressing a spring 7, to put the primary and secondary ports A and B in communication. The sealing material 12 is at this time not extruded, so that the slide resistance is small, response quick, and low pressure required to open the valve. When the fluid pressure in the pilot chamber 4 becomes high, on the other hand, the valve element 3 sinks to put the seal part 8 in close contact with the sheet 9, and the primary and secondary ports A, B are disconnected. When, thereafter, the pressure at the secondary port B sinks, the sealing material 12 is extruded to make sealing between the valve element 3 and the body 1. Thus leakage of oil from the pilot chamber can be prevented.
