Abstract

The screw feeder 5 is placed in the guide trough 2 with meshes, and the laver is fed to the screw feeder with the scraping plates 16. The axis 5a of the feeder 5 is made hollow. Water is introduced into the hollow part through the joint 8, and exudated through the small holes 11 bored to the axis 5a and the blades 5b to ensure the smooth feed of the laver.
