Abstract

PURPOSE:To extend the luminance area, by making the signal levels having a part of superposed area equal and synthesizing them, for two image sensing means having the superposed part and having sensitivity at the different luminance areas each other. CONSTITUTION:An image of objective is simultaneously given to image sensors 6, 8 from a semitransparent mirror 4. Since the sencor 8 is attenuated with the strength of incident light by an ND filter 10, the video signal at higher luminance side is decreased to output. A substraction circuit 12 substratcs a voltage Vs corresponding to the luminance B of the sensor 8 and a clipper circuit 16 keeps ground level at the luminance B or lower. Two image signals outputted from the sensor 6 and the circuit 16 are added at an addition circuit 18 and the image signals of high and low luminance side are synthesized to one signal arranged on the same straight line. The slope of the synthesized signal is compensated with a slope conversion circuit 20 so as to match it with the input level width of the image reproducing device.
