Abstract

PURPOSE: In an air compressor to be connected through an air tank to an air circuitry, to eliminate an unload valve by performing the speed control of an air compressor drive source thus to eliminate the super low frequency noise when opening the unload valve.
CONSTITUTION: Upon starting of motor M, the pressure P in the tank will increase and when it reaches to predetermined level a deceleration signal is produced from a deceleration level detector 4. The deceleration signal will decelerate the motor M to bring the inner pressure to predetermined level thereby the unload valve isn't opened. When supplying the pressure air into an air circuitry 3 the inner pressure will vary, but the motor M will continue the rotation with the speed corresponding with the consumption of the pressure air thus to maintain the inner pressure approximately constant. Consequently the unload valve for the compressor is eliminated and the super-low frequency noise caused by the opening of the unload valve is blocked.
