Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to shift the cargo safely and efficiently by a method wherein an L-shaped movable support table is utilized to shift the cargo put on one pallet to the other one by turning the table about 90°.
CONSTITUTION: The L-shaped movable support table 1 is made from supports 2, 3 which are arranged so as to be rectangular with respect to each other and are supported by a transversal shaft 4 at the intersecting line thereof while pallet lock meanses 19, 23 are provided on each supports 2, 3 to lock the pallet 8 or the pallet 11. The support 3 pivots column-shaped articles 26 put on the pallet 11 in horizontal postures and carried by a conveyor 10 and shifts them to the pallet 8 recessed at the central part thereof under converting them into vertical postures. According to this method, the safe and effcient shifting may be effected.
