Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize the whole equipment, by simultaneously covering the input section of photoelectric conversion elements and the output section of heat resistors separated from the input section with a prescribed distance, in heads which performed input/output of information to fascimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:In the case of input mode, an illuminating light from an illuminating sectio 12 passes through a transparent substrate 11 and windows 24 between photoelectric conversion elements 9a and is reflected by an orignal 6. The light reflected by the original 6 reaches photodiodes 15 and 16 through a transparent layer 17 and changes the properties of the diodes 15 and 16. Therefore, the original 6 is read out by fetching this changed amount as changes of the electric current signal between electrode layers 13a and 13b. In the case of output mode, recording signals are impressed between electrode layers 13b and 13c, plural heat resisting elements arranged in one line array are selectively heated, and thus recording information is printed on a heat sensitive paper 8. Since the input section 9 and the output section 10 are formed on one substrate 11, the whole equipment can be miniaturized.
