Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide such a heat transmission device as having a high circulation volume of liquid by a method wherein a pressure difference required for opening and closing a valve is varied in response to its opened or closed condition.
CONSTITUTION: Pressure receiving area in the valve body is defined in reference to a size 25 of the valve seat 23 in case of a closed valve, and further defined in reference to a size 26 of the valve seat 24 in case of an opened valve. That is, the pressure receiving area in case of an opened valve is higher than that in case of a closed valve. When a pressure difference between the high pressure fluid and the low pressure fluid is increased, the valve is opened. Then, even if the pressure difference in the fluid is decreased, the pressure receiving area in the valve is higher than that in case of the closed valve, so that the valve may not be closed rapidly. Therefore, a volume of circulation of fluid to accompany with a one-time opening and closing of the valve is increased and the rate of transmitted heat is increased.
