Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent bumping, reduce noises and vibration and maintain adequate lubrication on a roller and vanes in a cylinder for smooth rotation, by previously gasifying a coolant in refrigerator oil which is to be sucked into the intake port of a compressor.
CONSTITUTION: Refrigerator oil 19 separated by an oil separator 15 and containing a coolant stays at the inside bottom of the separator 15 and is conducted to a thin tube 22 through an oil outlet port 21. The coolant in the refrigerator oil 19 is gasified by the pressure reducing action of the thin tube 22. The flow rate of the oil 19 is controlled by the flow resistance of the thin tube 22 to be appropriate to lubricate a compressor. The oil 19 of appropriate flow rate is atomized while sucked into the intake port 12 of the compressor 14 from the tip of a nozzle 23. The atomized oil is sucked into a cylinder 1. Since the refrigerator oil 19 sucked into the cylinder 1 contains no coolant dissolved, bumping does not occur. As a result, noises and vibration are reduced and adequate lubrication is maintained on a roller (not shown in the drawing) and vanes (not shown) in the cylinder 11 for smooth rotation.
