Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform chroma-key only at a chroma-key back part surely, by making chroma cancellation and chroma conversion at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A chroma-key signal from a terminal 4 is applied to a chroma-key signal output terminal 19 via a chroma-key signal gate 17 and addition circuit 18. An output of cancell subcarrier generating circuit 100 and a chroma-key signal from the gate 17 are applied to a chroma cancellation subcarrier generating circuit 20, where the chroma cancellation subcarrier is formed. The chroma-key signal from the terminal 4 is applied to a chroma conversion subcarrier generating circuit 22 via a chroma conversion key signal gate 21 complementary interlocked with the chroma- key signal gate 17. An NTSC signal including the chroma-key back part from a terminal 6, chroma cancellation subcarrier, and chroma conversion subcarrier are added at an addition circuit 23 and outputted from an output terminal 24.
