Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a multielement magnetic head having a high track density and a reduced crosstalk, by magnetically connecting a comb-shaped magnetic member containing a conductive winding with every tooth part to a common magnetic member and previously applying the bias magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A main magnetic pole 12 composed of the tooth-shaped parts of a comb-shaped magnetic member contains a signal winding 13 using a conductive winding, and the whole part of the tooth-shaped part possesses a common bias winding 19 using a conductive winding. A tip part 14 of the pole 12 is put approximate to a recording medium 10, and a rear end part 15 of the pole 12 is magnetically connected to a head part 18 of a comman magnetic substance 16 having a foot part 17. Thus a multielement magnetic head is formed. An energizing winding 21 using a conductive winding is provided to a magnetic substance 20.
