Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain smooth drawing out of a core wire without a break or the like of the core wire on a device for drawing out a core wire from a carrier to a subsequent next process by designing a rotating mechanism for a rotary member at the top of the carrier which is driven through a guide pulley to have a structure which meets a specific equation.
CONSTITUTION: A core wire being drawn out passes around a guide pulley 13 secured to a rotary member 1 at the top of a frame of a carrier 3 and is accepted for a subsequent next process. The thus moving core wire rotates the pulley 13 to thus rotate the rotary member 1 through a driving pulley 14, a tapered pulley 7, a pinion 8 having the number NA of teeth, an idle gear 9 and an internal gear 5 having the number NB of teeth. This gear train is designed to have a structure which meets an equation NB/NA=D/d-1, where D is an average diameter of wound turns of the core wire, and (d) is an effective diameter of the guide pulley 13. By this structure, since the rotary member 1 makes one complete rotation for drawing out of the core wire for one complete turn, the core wire is not waved about nor squeezed and hence it is never broken on this device.
