Abstract

PURPOSE: To form at a time many shaped products free from distortions and crooks through a simple process, by piling up many comparatively long and moderately curved intermediate products of an aluminum base metallic foil previously formed by a press machine, in a shape reforming die set, and by heating and holding them in a prescribed temperature range for a prescribed period of time in order to reform their shape.
CONSTITUTION: A 0.02W0.2mm thick, about 1W2m long, for example, hard Al or Al-alloy foil 1 for use of a comparatively long shuttering blind of a skylight, etc., is press formed one by one by a die set 2a, 2b.
