PURPOSE:To printing data on a single slip and a continuous form selectively according to the indication of a switch, by a printer device which handles both the continuous form and single slip. CONSTITUTION:A printer 2, equipped with a changeover switch 8 on its console panel, supplies an indication signal from the change-over switch 8 to a control circuit 3 to select either one of a single slip and a continuous form. According to the indication of the changeover switch 8, the control circuit 3 when receiving print information turns on a continuous-form driving signal generating circuit 5 or a single-splip driving signal generating circuit 6 to print the information on an indicated output medium. Thus, selective printing on the single split and continuous form is achieved without modifying and supporting software.
