Abstract

PURPOSE:To protect a recording medium in the process of production using an amorphous ferrimagnetic substance as a recording material, by using an ultraviolet ray hardener and at the same time forming immediately a dielectric thin film on the amorphous ferrimagnetic film. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous ferrimagnetic thin film 2 of GdTbFe, CdDyFe, TbFe, DyFe, CdTbFeNi,HoCo, TbCo, etc. plus a transparent dielectric thin film 3 of SiO2, SiO, etc. are formed on a glass disk of the soda glass, a coning microsheet, etc. or a disk 1 made of resin such as the acrylic, polycarbonate through a vacuum vapor deposition, a sputtering process, an ion plating process or the like. Then said glass or resin disk is adhered on the upper surface of the film 3 by means of an adhesive layer cured by the ultraviolet ray irradiation such as ''Fortbond, Locktight X-353 ''.
