Abstract

PURPOSE:To separate transfer paper with good reliability, make working easy, prevent damaging of a photoreceptor and reduce the stains of copied images by providing a flange part having a projecting part of a sharp pointed shape and a transfer body guide leading end to the body part of a sheet material having high elasticity. CONSTITUTION:A separating pawl 1 is mounted to a bracket 2 by means of a screw 3 in such a manner that its leading end 1' contacts a photosensitive drum 6 nearly tangentialy or at a minute angle to the tangent. Said bracket 2 is mounted to a shaft 5 by means of a screw 4, and said shaft 5 is connected to a revolving lock mechanism (not shown) and revolves the pawl 1 in a manner as to move it apart from the photoreceptor 6 and is fixable as to prevent damaging of the photoreceptor 6 at the time when it is removed from the body. The pawl 1 is constituted of a platelike body 10, a leading end projecting part 12, a guide part 13 of both side parts in the width direction of the body 10, etc.
