A timing control circuit 9' is controlled with the output signal (a') of the circuit 12, which controls a copying and separation device and the internal part of the copy machine and outputs various control signals (i) based on the signal (h). If the signal h shows factors of unreliable separation, the start of application time to a conductive belt 6 is made longer to increase the separation force.
