Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a supervisor for operation and to increase both safety and reliability by providing a generator device having a hydrogen gas leakage detector, an internal gas pressure detector, and a bearing sealing oil pressure detector, and suspending operation automatically at an emergency. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen gas detector 12 is provided around a generator 1 cooled by hydrogen gas. And a differential pressure detector 13 is provided across the outlet and the inlet of a sealing oil device 11 supplying bearings 9 and 10 with sealing oil to detect the hydrogen gas pressure in the inside of the generator. Furthermore, sealing oil pressure detectors 14, 15 are provided at the respective sealing sections of the bearings 9 and 10. An alarm is given when at least one of the detectors activates, and the operation of the generator is also automatically suspended when all of the detectors work in order to prevent explosion by feeding nitrogen gas from a nitrogen gas sealing device 16.
