Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure highly efficient reception, by supplying two types of AGC signals having, desired relation between them to a tuner circuit and a diode attenuator provided at the front stage of the tuner circuit. CONSTITUTION:A separator 1 is provided to separate a UHF signal from a VHF signal. The VHF signal is supplied to an input terminal 2 from an output terminal 1V, and the UHF signal is supplied to the part 2 from an output terminal 1U via a diode attenuator 3. Then the switches SW1 and SW2 are turned on and off respectively when the VHF is received, and thus an AGC signal is supplied to the part 2. While the switches SW1 and SW2 are turned off and on respectively when the UHF is received. Thus the AGC signal is supplied to the attenuator 3. As a result, not only the S/N ratio but the capacity to exclude a disturbance given from outside can be increased.
