Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform parallel operation of a power plant in a stable manner, by increasing the operation speed of a feed water pump automatically from its turning speed up to the idling speed meeting with the power generating output at the time, and bringing the pump automaticaly into parallel operation with other feed water pump. CONSTITUTION:In starting operation of a feed water pump, a parallel operation switch 28 is closed, so that the deviation between the output of a transmitter 30 for transmitting a signal relating to the flow rate of the feed water pump and that of a proportional integrator 31 is stored in an analogue memory 29, and the output of a deviation calculator 32 is kept at zero. Further, the output of a function generator 24 and that of a rotational speed transmitter 17 are applied to a deviation calculator 25. When the output of an integrator 15 is increased and becomes higher than the output of a propertioning means 20, variable-value control using the output of a control system B for the feed water pump as a datum value is switched to constant-value control using the output of the function generator 24 as a datum value. Further, when starting operation of the feed water pump is completed by increasing its speed to the idling speed, the switch 28 is opened and the system is shifted to parallel operation.
