NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formulaI(R1 and R2 are H, halogen, nitrile, nitro, lower alkyl, trifluoromethyl, or R1 and R2 form 3,4-methylenedioxy; A is methylene, or oxygen; R3 is H or methyl; R4 is 3W7C alkyl; n is integer of 4W12.
EXAMPLE: N-Isobutyl-2E,4E-12-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenoxy)-dodecadienoic amide.
USE: Insecticides and acaricides.
PROCESS: An acid shown by the formula II or its reactive derivative[e.g., 2E, 4E-12-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenoxy)-dodecadienoic acid chloride, etc.]is reacted with an amine (e.g., isobutylamine, etc.) shown by the formula R4-NH2, to give a compound shown by the formulaI.
