Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily and exactly fit and hold the first-stage green tire without any deformation by a method in which pistons are respectively provided to radially set cylinders, and by the actions of the pistons, each head receiving seat is expanded or contracted in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:When the first-stage green tire M is positioned in place, each piston is moved outwards, and each bead receiving seat 4 is expanded in the peripheral direction of a tire molding drum through each link 5 and around a pin 32, whereby exactly holding the left and right-handed beads Ma and Mb of the first stage green tire M. Then, when left and right-handed bladder holders 6 and 41 are mutually moved in the central direction of the drum while injecting air from the air hole 3A of the intermediate shaft into a bladder 10, the first-stage green tire M is deformed from cylindrical form to toroidal form, and then are filled with belt and tread asembly L separately molded. At the time when the deformation into the toroidal form is ended, these are completely joined with the green tire by tread stitcher to complete the molding of the second-stage green tire N.
