Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity, responce property and hysteresis etc., by using a humidity sensitive resistor of electrically conductive powder mixed with a reaction product of a hydrophilic high molecule and zirconium salts having compatibility with said high molecule. CONSTITUTION:A humidity sensitive registor is prepared by mixing electrically conductive grains such as carbon, metal etc. with a reaction product produced by a dehydration addition reaction of a glycol bonding OH radical of a hydrophylic high molecule such as polyvinyl alcohol, a high molecule derivative of polyvinyl alcohol and cellulose, a saponified compound of methyl polyacrylate or ethyl polyacrylate etc. and zirconium salts such as a zirconium compound of acetate or sulfacte etc. having compatibility with the hydrophilic high molecule. A compounding ratio of each component is 20-80wt% hydrophylic high molecule, <=20wt% zirconium salts and 20-80wt% electrically conductive powder.
