Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the variation of voltage minimally by mounting the winding of a stator while being divided into double winding at the low speed side and the high speed side and extracting output from either winding in response to wind velocity. CONSTITUTION:When wind is weak and the number of revolution of the shaft of a generator 20 is low, the number of revolution is detected by means of a revolution number detector 15, changeover switches 12 at the low speed side are turned ON by the detecting signals, and output from the winding at the low speed side is extracted through output 11 at the low speed side and the changover switches 12 at the low speed side. When wind velocity increases and the number of revolution of the shaft of the generator 20 reaches the fixed number of revo lution or higher, output from the winding at the high speed side is extracted through circuits 13 at the high speed side and changeover switches 14 at the high speed side by opening the changeover switches 12 at the low speed side while closing changeover switches 14 and the high speed side.
