Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable other additional workings of stitching etc., even if a tire transfer apparatus is positioned on a forming drum, by providing an opening part at a frame having a gripping means which is attached to a truck movable to an axial direction of the tire forming drum and expands and contracts freely. CONSTITUTION:An opening part 11 being provided at a frame 10 of a gripping means 10a having segments 8, 8', 8'' which expand and contract in a radial direction freely on a transfer apparatus E movable on rails 5, 5' of a green tire forming apparatus M, a pressing wheel 58 of a stitching apparatus 6 is enabled to touch and leave a forming drum 3 from the opening part 11.
