CONSTITUTION:The projection 3 of an ink ribbon cassette 2 is fitted into the widened width part of a guide hole 5 drilled in the plate 4 of a printer, and at the same time an ink ribbon 1 is inseted into between a delivery roller 6 and a pressure roller 7. Then, the cassette 2 is slided in the direction of arrow X1, and the fixing plate 8 is turned around a pin 12 through the projection 8. After the fixing plate 8 passes an equilibrium point, it is further turned by the force of a spring 10 having a snapping action, its projection 802 is contacted with the projection 3 of the cassette 2 to fix the cassette 2, and at the same time the pressure arm 9 is turned around a pin 13 through a spring 11.
