Abstract

PURPOSE:To mold a lens without set, by enclosing a liquid material for a plastic lens into the interface between opposed surfaces of a plurality of resilient plates whose peripheries are fixed. CONSTITUTION:Resilient plates 11, 12 that have been produced from a resilient material at about resin molding temperatures are placed between hollow pipes 15, 16 with the peripheries 11a, 12a secured by screws 13, 14 to the flanges 15a, 16a at the ends of the pipes 15, 16. Sections 11b, 12b excluding the peripheries 11a, 12a are placed to closed holes 15b, 16b of the hollow pipes 15, 16. With the two resilient plates 11, 12 being in contact with each other, a liquid material for a lens is injected from an injection hole 17 to the interface between them so that the resilient plates 11, 12 are resiliently bent outward thereby a convex plastic lens 18 is formed.
