Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a core for molding easily with high accuracy by making a master mold wherein a wire of roughly the same diameter as that of a hole of a circular columnar body provided with the hole of a minute diameter is inserted and fixed into said hole and performing electrocasting. CONSTITUTION:First, a circular columnar body provided with a through-hole of a minute diameter provided at <=1-2mum off from the center is made at the center. Next, a master mold wherein a wire of the same diameter as that of said hole is inserted and fixed into the hole of the body is made. The mold is put in an electrocasting cell consisting of an electrocasting bath, a nickel electrode and an electric power source, whereby an electrocasting grown with an electrocast layer of a sufficient thickness is formed. The mold is removed from this electrocasting and the casting is worked of the outside circumference, whereby it is formed to a main die 16. The main die parts for the die for molding are manufactured easily with high accuracy by such process.
