CONSTITUTION:By impregnating wood meal with a polyoxyalkylene acrylate or methacrylate represented by formulaI(where A is hydrogen or an active hydrogen residue of 1-24C alcohols, phenols, amine or carboxlic acids having 1-8 active hydrogen atoms, R is hydrogen or methyl, m is an integer of 2-4, n is 2-100, x, y are each an integer of 1-8, y-x is 0 or an integer of 1-7) followed by curing, modified wood meal is obtained. This modified wood meal has improved affinity with synthetic resin and is useful as a filler or a modifier of the synthetic resin.
