Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a short-stroke reciprocation actuator from heating due to the stay of a working fluid, by providing two fluid inlet ports and two fluid outlet ports at both the sides of the piston of the acutator so that the working fluid flows in one direction through each pipe. CONSTITUTION:Inflow passages 47, 49 and outflow passages 51, 50 are connected to liquid chambers 46, 48 on both the sides of the piston of an actuator 45. The inflow passages 47, 49 communicate with the ports 31, 32 of a pump port switching unit 33. The outflow passages 51, 50 communicate with the ports 41, 40 of a tank port switching unit 42. In a switched position, pressurized oil enters into the chamber 46 through the port 31 and the passage 47 and oil in the chamber 48 returns to a tank 55 through the passage 50 and the port 40 so that the piston 56 goes down. In the opposite switched position, pressurized oil enters into the chamber 48 through the passage 49 and oil in the chamber 46 returns to the tank 55 so that the working oil does not stay.
