Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and producibility of the exchanger by a structure wherein tube members, the introductory part of which can tightly contact with one another along the whole periphery of both end parts of the member and the cross section in the intermediate part of which is rendered to be gradually smaller, are assembled closely at the heat exchanger, in which heat exchange is performed by flowing fluids in the inside and at the outside of the tube members. CONSTITUTION:First tube members, each of which has two sets of a regular hexagonal inlet part 17 and a tapered part 18 at both ends respectively, and second tube members, each of which has two same sets of the parts 17 and 18 as those of the first tube member at both ends respectively and moreover has a set of a partition part 19 and two tapered parts 18 with the same forms as those of the inlet part 17 and of the tapered part 18 of the first tube member at the center of the member, are closely assambled by a proper number and welded together to an aggregate 21. End wall members 20 are fitted to both ends of the aggregate 21 and a side plate 12 with ventilating holes 12a covers the side surface of the exchanger so as to seal all the side surface except the ventilating holes 12a. Owing to the structure as mentioned above, the ventilating resistance at the inlet and outlet of the tube members 15 and 16 are sharply reduced and, because the partition parts 19 make the passage of air in zigzags, the improvement of the cooling efficiency and the facilitation of the manufacture of the heat exchanger are resulted.
