When the call is finished and the handset 1 is placed on the telephone set main body 2, the call is finished. When a function switch 7 is turned on and the call is made with the handset while the speaker 6 is operated, the function switch 7 turns off with the handset 1 placed on the main body 2, and the connection with a subscriber line is interrupted.
