PURPOSE:To improve response quality and prevent hunting of a controller, by constituting the controller such that a pulse is width modulated by a deviation between a detected air cylinder position in an automobile and a target value and solenoids are driven by the modulated pulse signal to control air pressure in an air cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The position of an air cylinder is input to comparators 6-1, 6-2 as a signal F through a sensor 16 and feedback circuit 5, and compared with a preset signal V, then the deviation sigma1, sigma2 are input to control units 7-1, 7-2. Voltages are compared with voltages Er, determined by variable resistors VR1 of the control units 7-1, 7-2, if at least Er, proportional signals 8a are output and compared with a signal 17a of a pulse generator circuit 17 through offset circuits 9 and gates 10, and signals 10a are output to drive solenoids 14-1, 14-2 through converters 11, 13 and amplifiers 12 and control the air cylinder. In this way, response quality can be improved and hunting can be prevented.
