Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the titled rubber compsn. which gives a tire having low rolling resistance and improved wet skid resistance, by blending emulsion-polymerized polybutadiene rubber and carbon black with a high styrene/butadiene rubber.
CONSTITUTION: 20W80wt% styrene/butadiene rubber having a styrene content exceeding 30wt% is mixed with 80W20wt% emulsion-polymerized polybutadiene rubber using 1,3-butadiene as a starting material. 40W100pts.wt. carbon black, not more than 70pts.wt. arom. oil, an antioxidant, a vulcanizing agent, etc. are blended with 100pts.wt. above mixed rubber.
