Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the wasteful use of sheets and prevent the cutting of the sheets in unnecessary places by starting feeding the sheets in a storage chamber to a processing part after a prescribed quantity of the sheets have been stored therein. CONSTITUTION:Originals 5 such as checks, promised bills, share certificates or the like are fed from an automatic original supply part 3 to a lighting and conveying part 15. In an exposure position, they are exposed to a microfilm F or the like and are recorded. The film F after the recording is temporarily stored in a storage chamber 50 in a loop form, after which it is fed to a processing part 2, where it undergoes processing such as developing and fixing. When the amount of the film stored in the chamber 50 is at the prescribed 1st value, the feed to the part 2 is started, and when it attains the 2nd value less than the 1st value, the film is fed continuously by prescribed length into the chamber. When the rate of this feeding attains the prescribed length, the film is cut 45.
