Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform accurate control with excellent response by sensing the opening degree of the throttle valve by a noncontact distance sensor, and utilizing the output characteristic. CONSTITUTION:The noncontact distance sensor 8 is provided in a throttle body 4 having an air intake path 5. The throttle valve 1 whoch opnens and closes said pathe 5 and controls the amount of the suction of air is provided in said throttle body 4 so that the valve can be freely rotated. An aiming part 1c for the noncontact distance sensor 8 is provided on the throttle valve 1 of the throttle body 4, and the opening degree of the throttle valve 1 is sensed.
