Abstract

PURPOSE:To cleanly convey an article, by providing an extraneous substance removing means in a part of an article conveying surface. CONSTITUTION:A wafer delivered onto the wafer conveying surface 12 of a wafer conveying plate 10 is carried to a next process in the direction of an arrow B by air obliquely ejected out of air oulet holes 14. If extraneous substances such as dust and wafer chips are delivered together from the preceding process, the extraneous substances gather mostly at the coupling corners of the wafer conveying plate 10 and guide walls 16 and are removed to the outside through slits 18 in the direction of an arrow C. In that case, clean air may be supplied downward in the direction of an arrow D over the wafer conveying surface 12 to heighten the effect of the removal of the extraneous substances through the slits 18.
