Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer and form sharp pictures on a rubber surface by forming patterns consisting of an ionization radiation curing compsn. on backing, superposing a silicone rubber surface having low surface tension thereon and irradiating ionization radiations from the substrate side. CONSTITUTION:Patterns 4 are formed on backing 3 by using an ionization radiation curing compsn. consisting of oligomers, monomers, pigments, etc. having ionization radiation curing property. Separately, silicone rubber liquid is coated on a substrate 1 and is allowed to cure, whereby a silicone rubber surface 2 of 20-27 dyne/cm surface tension is formed. Both are superposed in such a way that the patterns 4 and the surface 2 contact there with, and ionization radiations 5 are irradiated from the backing 3 side to allow the patterns 4 consisting of the ionization radiation curing compsn. to cure; at the same time, the patterns are transferred onto the surface 2 and are bound thereto, after which the backing 3 is stripped, whereby pictures 4' are formed on the surface 2.
