CONSTITUTION: The surface of an article made of a plastic molding material or glass is coated with an under-coating layer obtained by mixing the hydrolyzed product of an epoxy-containing organic silane compound of formulaI(R1 is epoxy-containing organic group; R2 is H, 1W6C hydrocarbon group or vinyl; R3 is 1W5C hydrocarbon group, alkoxy, etc.; a is 1W3; b is 0W2; a+b≤3) with a curing catalyst and optionally an epoxy-containing organic compound, and a top- coating layer obtained by adding a curing catalyst to a composition composed of 20W75pts.wt. of a (co)polymer containing ≥20wt% structural unit of formula II (R4 and R5 are H, lower alkyl or carboxyl; X is side chain containing epoxy group) and 25W80pts.wt. of polyhydric alcohol containing ethylene oxide chain, and the coating layers are cured.
