Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of the index mark by a method wherein the identification tip is provided on the required inner lead in the semiconductor device of transparent package construction. CONSTITUTION:The outer leads 9 of each lead 8 project from the both sides of the transparent package 7. The outer leads 9 are formed into the dual line construction respectively bending downward harfway. The inner lead 13 of the first lead 15 among the terminal lead 8 is formed larger than that of the other terminal lead 8 into the identification tip 16 which may be identified from outside the transparent package 7 clearly indicating the direction of the semiconductor device 6.
