CONSTITUTION:The tip of a pipe material 1 is held by a clamping jig 2, is fixed to an arm 4, also its movement in the axial direction is restricted by a stopper 7, and the rotation of the arm 4 is prevented. Compressive force 11 is loaded to the pipe material 1 by an oil pressure cylinder 6A, a heating coil 9 is reciprocated in one body with a cooling water nozzle 10 along a moving direction 12, only prescribed width of the pipe material 1 is heated, and a bend-working part is thickened. Subsequently, the compressive force 11 is released, the stopper 7 is detached, the cooling water nozzle 10 is detached from the heating coil 9, the material is advanced, and its bend-working is perfomed. When the bend-working has ended, the bent part is cooled by cooling water so as to prevent its deformation.
