Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the heat efficiency thereof by a method wherein a flexible tube is utilized as an exhaust tube and a water discharging tube in a portable room heating machine utilizing a pulse combustor. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 6, equipped with a plurality of pipes 6a and used for a muffler also, is connected to the exhaust side of a combustion chamber 2 for the pulse combustor 5 while the flexible exhaust tube 8 and the water discharging tube 9 are connected to a header 7 at an exit side thereof. Outdoor air and supplied combustion gas are mixed and ignited in the combustion chamber 2, burnt explosively and the combustion gas is flowed into the heat exchanger 6, thereafter, is discharged into a room after exchanging the heat thereof with indoor air from the pipe 6a and is discharged to the outside of the room from the exhaust tube 8. Moisture in the air is condensed and reserved in the header 7 by the combustion, however, the condensed water is discharged from the water discharging tube 9 to the outside of the room. Thus, the heat exchanger is provided at the exhaust side of the combustor 5, therefore, the heat efficiency may be improved to more or less 95%.
