Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the noise by providing a mass damper of the specific shape having the flat bottom section and the edge section at the intermediate section of the vibration-proof layer placed between the fixing metal at the engine side and the member fixing metal. CONSTITUTION:The vibration-proof rubbers 3a, 3b are secured integrally to both faces while holding mass damper between them, while a fixing metal 1 at the engine side and a fixing metal 2 at the member side are secured integrally in parallel on each outer face of said vibration-proof rubber. Said mass damper 4 is placed for the purpose to provide the damper function for the transmission of the vibration of Kc particularly in the compressing direction, which is made of single plate while having the flat bottom section 4a parallel with both metals 1, 2 at the central portion and formed into a bent member having the linear section 4b extending while bending to approach gradually to one fixing metal 1 along both sides.
