Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of stages for manufacture by forming a metallic layer for strain gauge resistance directly on the surface of a beam body. CONSTITUTION:A beam body 1 made of a metallic material by cutting work is used by running fitting bolts through fitting holes 2A and 2B. The intermediate part of the beam body 1 is a thin strain inducing part 5, an operating piece 6 is extended from the other end side of the beam body 1 to a position below the part 5, and a load W is applied on a through hole 7 made in the operating piece 6. On the top surface of the part 5, strain gauge resistor patterns R1, R2, R3, and R4 are provided, and those are connected through a lead pattern 9. On the top surface of the beam body 1, on the other hand, a span resistor pattern R5 for temperature compensation is provided.
