Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an improving agent loss and simultaneously to improve a ground improving effect, by a method wherein, after an implanting member for ground improving agent, provided with an excavating cutter at the end, is inserted under an anhydrous condition into a ground to be improved, the improving agent is implanted into an outer peripheral ground through the implanting member. CONSTITUTION:An implanting member A for ground improving agent is inserted under an anhydrous condition into a ground B as an excavation is carried out by means of an excavating cutter 5 at the end thereof. Then, an elastic toroidal segment 4 prevents earth and sand of an outer peripheral ground to enter the implanting member A. If a ground improving agent C is implanted into the outer peripheral ground through an implanting port 2, the agent C expands the elastic toroidal segment 4 in a direction of a diameter to implant it into the outer peripheral ground through a gap between the elastic toroidal segment 4 and a body (a). Like a time when the implanting member A is inserted underground as pressure water is jetted, this prevents the formation of a gap between the implanting member A and the outer peripheral ground and causes the implanted improving agent to be implanted into a given ground immediately.
