Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a humidity sensor which is provided with a stable humidity-sensitive material against even congelation of moisture on the surface of the humidity-sensitive material, by a method wherein an electric resistance value changes corresponding to a temperature change, and a humidity-sensitive material, having a specified high- molecular electrolytic film, is used. CONSTITUTION:In a humidity-sensitive sensor which detects humidity using a humidity- sensitive material having a nature to change an electric resitance value corresponding to a change humidty at the outside, a humidity-sensitive material, having a high-molecular electrolytic component film formed resulting from the contact of two types of high-molecular electrolyte, being different in a change from each other, with each other, is used. In case, in said humidity-sensitive material, a first humidity-sensitive film, formed on an electrode, consits of an anion series high-molecular electrolyte, a desired humidity-sensitive material is obtained by bringing the first humdity-sensitive film surface into contact with a cathion series high-molecular electrolytic solution or latex. In case the first humidity-sensitive consists of a cathion series high-molecular electrolyte, a desired humidity-sensitive material is obtained by bringing the first humidity-sensitive film surface into contact with an anion series high-molecular electralytic solution or latex.
