Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid damages on a drum surface, by constituting a part of all of image forming means provided around an image carrier that they are incorporated with the image carrier and removable to a main body device. CONSTITUTION:A process kit consists of a corona discharger 3, a short focus optical element array 4, a developer 5, a copying corona discharger 6, and a cleaner 7, incorporatedly around a photoreceptor drum 2 and removably with a device main body. A side plate 8 of a frame supports them incorporatedly to constitute a console. In using an arbitrary objective kit out of a plurality of the process kits, no damage is given to the drum surface even if the process kit is moved while exposing the copying section of the photoreceptor drum.
