Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the intensity for each load of heat and oscillation, by press-fixing an oxygen sensor element by a hollow cyrindrical inside holder which is fitted to an outside holder.
CONSTITUTION: Electrodes 2, 3 are provided on both faces of a lean sensor element 1. The element 1 is held at the tip end part of the sensor firmly in an outside holder 6 by an inside holder 8. The inner face of the holder 6 and the outer face of the holder 8 are stuck by an inorganic adhesive 12. Each holder 6 and 8 is provided with each lead wire 7 and 9 and the tip end of the wire 7 is brought into contact with the electrode 2 and the tip of the wire 9 is brought into contact with the electrode 3.
